Leading Guzheng virtuoso Lunlun Zou will meet Erhu genius Guo Gan in Hong Kong in a crossover between east and west by music on June 30th – on the eve of the 16th Year Anniversary of Hong Kong’s Reunification with China, at the Concert Hall of the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. This is a “crossover” between traditional and modernity, between east and west, and an inner quest of hearts and minds for all audience with a genuine love of traditional Chinese music.

公佈鄒倫倫的《穿越》古箏二胡音樂會

頂尖古箏演奏家鄒倫倫，與法國著名華裔二胡演奏家果敢，將於2013年6月30日(星期日)，香港回歸16週年前夕下午4時，於香港演藝學院音樂廳為熱愛中華民族音樂文化的聽眾帶來一次《穿越》古今文化、東西文化，及思維與心靈的音樂盛宴—-《穿越》古箏二胡音樂會。音樂會由國際音樂藝術學院 (IAMA) 與Oregon Scientific舉辦，以古箏和二胡帶來多首中外名曲，通過演奏中國傳統經典名曲，繼而以中國樂器演繹西方經典作品及原以西方樂器演奏的中國背景曲目，為觀眾帶來一次《穿越》的文化之旅，並透過音樂讓香港的年青一代領會民族音樂的博大精深，增進對祖國文化了解，並為IAMA藝術基金會籌款，支持培養年輕一代投入音樂事業。

“SPRING OF THE GOLDEN SNAKE” CNY CONCERT WILL BE HELD ON 16 FEBRUARY 2013 IN SYDNEY

Spring of the Golden Snake celebrates the 2013 Chinese New Year (year of the Snake) with an afternoon of music with Ying & Friends at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. This special concert, a showcase of Chinese influence in Australian music, will blend Western and Chinese instruments to create original and evocative sounds. Chinese tea appreciation and a calligraphy workshop will be held before the concert and tea tasting and light refreshments after the concert for you to enjoy Chinese New Year at the Con. Special guest will be Lunlun Zou, director of International Academy for Musical Arts in Hong Kong.

The program presents traditional Chinese music including Golden Snake Dance (金蛇狂舞) and Spring Outing (游春), Cantonese music including Autumn Moon on the Calm Lake (平湖秋月) and Rain Drops on a Banana Tree (雨打芭蕉), arranged by Australian composer Tony Wheeler, as well as popular Chinese classics The Moon’s Reflection on the Second Spring (二泉映月) and Spring Festival Overture (春节序曲), arranged by Australian composer Julie Simonds. Also included are original Australian compositions for Chinese instruments, Bodhisattva of the Silk Road and Guanyin Song by Wheeler and other well-known Western pieces arranged for Chinese and Western instruments. A highlight will be the world premiere of Wheeler’s blues-jazz piece Blue Moon for erhu, saxophone and piano.

2013年《金蛇迎春》中國室內音樂會將於2月16日在悉尼音樂學院舉行

為了慶祝2013年春節的到來，悉尼著名二胡演奏家劉瑩和她的朋友們將在《悉尼音樂學院》為您獻上《金蛇迎春》中國室內音樂會，時間為2013年2月16日（農曆初七）星期六下午。初七是中國傳統的《人日》，寓意為《人人的生日》，屆時會有由《茗盈茶業》為您展示中國茶藝及書法工作坊和特地專程從香港返澳的古箏大師，《香港國際音樂藝術》學院院長鄒倫倫表演古箏藝術與您共慶蛇年春節。

劉瑩畢業於瀋陽音樂學院，現於悉尼大學研究中國元素對澳洲音樂的影響。她曾應邀到奧地利維也納大學演講《西方人眼中的中國音樂》，紐西蘭奧塔歌大學演講《跨文化音樂製作》及悉尼大學演講《二胡與澳洲音樂的關係》並發表相關論文。劉瑩曾多次為澳洲ABC, SBS, 悉尼音樂台錄音，專訪，並為SBS普通話電台不定期錄製《中國音樂賞析》節目。此次音樂會是理論與實踐，宣揚中國與澳大利亞藝術音樂的完美融合，由澳洲知名音樂家們為您獻上的一台具有中國特色的室內音樂會。曲目包括中國傳統樂曲揚琴打擊樂合奏《金蛇狂舞》；澳洲作曲家安東尼改編的高胡與阮二重奏《平湖秋月》和《雨打芭蕉》；澳洲作曲家朱莉改編的中國經典曲《二泉映月》和《春節序曲》；嗩吶獨奏《游春》；由中國樂器演奏的澳洲原創作品《絲竹路菩薩》和《觀音曲》；同時還有大家熟悉的由西方古典及現代音樂改編用中西樂器共同演奏的曲目，其中最令人期盼的是安東尼專門為此次音樂會創作首演的《藍月》。 《藍月》是由二胡，薩克斯風和鋼琴演奏的藍調爵士風格的三重奏。

此次與劉瑩同台演出的有來自北京原中國音樂學院的旅澳著名揚琴演奏家胡磊，嗩吶演奏家胡衛剛，原上海廣播電視藝術團的二胡演奏家顏現瑩率領新成立的的《中國風樂坊》為悉尼的觀眾首次獻藝，同時還有澳洲作曲家，鋼琴家Julie Simonds，黑管演奏家Peter Smith和大提琴演奏家Andrew Wilson。值得一提的是澳洲作曲家安東尼，他在1983年去上海音樂學院師從於中國著名作曲家何占豪學習作曲，同時專修古琴和中阮兩樣樂器，對中國音樂文化有其獨特及深奧的見解，他還是一位單簧管和薩克斯風演奏家。音樂會只演一場，機會難得，不容錯過，座位有限，預購從速。

Lin Yayi performs on TVB television

10-year old Lin Yayi performs on TVB programme “New Culture Zoom”, aired on 7 July 2012, (Saturday, 9:10am). The song is “The Drums of the Harvest”. Since age 6, Yayi has been learning guzheng from her guzheng teacher Lunlun Zou and won many competitions throughout Hong Kong.

林雅怡， 10 歲，2012 年7月7號在香港翡翠台的《文化新領域》節目中演奏了古箏名曲： 《豐收鑼鼓》。雅怡從六歲開始師從著名古箏演奏家鄒倫倫學習古箏，從初級開始學起至今已達到9 級演奏水平，並在多次香港校際音樂節中獲得冠軍！

“National Melody Concert” will be held on Thursday, 20 October 2011 at 8:00 PM in Sheung Wan Civic Centre (Sheung Wan, Hong Kong).

Lunlun Zou and Dr Huang Weida will be performing on guzheng and erhu “Fishermen’s Joyous Return”. Lunlun Zou and her guzheng trio “Phoenix” (Feng Huang) will perform a classical piece “Butterfly Lovers” and other popular compositions. This concert will also feature Lunlun Zou’s talented 9-year old student Lin Yayi, first prize laureate of Hong Kong School’s Music Festival. Lin Yayi will perform Tibetan melody “Spring’s Return to Snow-capped Peaks”. Other outstanding musicians will also participate.

Thursday, 20 October 2011, 8:00 PM, at Sheung Wan Civic Centre, Hong Kong; tickets are HK$200 (students half price) and can be purchased from Lunlun Zou.
